and yeah there is some talk about some maps from previous Ace Combats

Source us, o great prophet.

---

If Namdai's not going to give us more planes, they're not going to give us more maps. They're just using the offline maps for new online modes.

Why no downloadable planes? The possibilities are endless with downloadable content, I don't understand why they're holding out on you guys. They don't even need to be that expensive. Oblivion went haywire with downloads, Ace Combat is an equally popular franchise, so there's no reason to hold back here.

@ Hydro: Yes, source? And no, I can't get an Xbox.

Ooof. Comparing Oblivion to Ac in terms of popularity is funny.

You all forget; this is Project Aces' first attempt at an online Ac, and while it's not groundbreaking, it's definitely a great first try.

The possibilities are indeed endless with DLC though if you're familiar with Bungie and their regular Halo updates you'll recognize that they always talk about that if they change one thing, they'll have to go through every line of code to make sure nothing gets effed up. I'm not saying that PjA's incapable of such a task, but knowing them they're probably working on the next Ace Combat...

The next Ace Combat...possibly, but they're also in the midst of working on some other big titles for both platforms. I can't see Ace Combat being brought up again within 2008.

I think they should change a little bit the ace of aces mission. I mean, shoot down every plane at that insane difficulty is something that needs skill, but unfortunately, you have not enough time to kill all the planes AND not run out of time (i went SU47 and SAAM on most of objectives, some enemy raping). I like to end every mission having 99-100% of enemies killed, so i don't like being limited so much in time. I know that a superskilled pilot needs to fly a lot fast and choose wisely the objective, but i think that the time limit is not enough. I first played it on the crimsom SU33, killing most of planes and getting an A, than went there raping with the nosferatu, just for the fun, and than reraped with mobius. I was satisfied even by finishing such a difficul mission, but having some more time to fight so skilled pilots would have been better.

The Indigo Wing and Razgriz Su-47 look awesome. But the Co-Op stage scares me, really.

There's a Battle Royale map that has a port, and I can't recognize it as any campaign map. We have that tiny, tiny chance of getting Bana or November City, so let us dream.

In my opinion, they're not. Just another way for NB to make some fast cash.

Some people like them though...

So just a way out there map idea... anyone remember starfox 64 where you were in space, though there was a definite down and up, there were like floating parts of buildings everywhere? That might make a pretty cool map to fly in. Imagine this, your being tailed by an enemy, you fly through a half destroyed floating tunnel, out a big hole and you watch your enemy accidentally smash into a bent steel girder on the way out. I can dream too ^__^

I lol'd.

Seriously, Namdai's being great to their fans. Tell me another publisher that deals out new DLC every month, and I'll shut the eff up.
