Can't disagree more, but I've already explained why about a half dozen times on the ACZ forum alone, probably. :) I truly think skilled Berkut pilots would be quite near the top of the AC food chain, were ACZ online.

(Centerline missile rack for more consistent double-taps up close, SAAMs for engaging mobile a/c, 16 SFFS for potential A2G mayhem almost on par with the 8 FAEB planes, and good low speed handling and stability for gun usage.)

BTW, thread suggestion:

Perhaps it would be helpful to add a link to our ACZ FAQ, in the first post?

Which one, the one where it falls out of the sky?

If so, keep you airspeed under 600 mph, andzig-zag Between SW and SE. When the laser fires, head south in Afterburner. When the laser disappears, use the airbrakes to get under 600 mph. Repeat until you get to the south end of the map. I don't know if altitude helps, but I think keeping in a shallow climb helps.

If its on the mission where you must dodge a laser that falls from the sky, use NTs tactic. Just watch the radar and when when it appears just turn sharply with breaks on.

If for the mission where the laser is fired from a tower (Excalibur), The clue is to watch your radar. It shows where the laser will fire (its actually where you are), and it actually a couple of seconds after it shows on radar so you can turn away from its path. ^_^

If the belkans would have switched there tactics in the 2 laser attacks around, it would probably be next to impossible.

Thank you both of you. I managed to beat both, and it's only the 2nd day of having it. :)

Really? I can't see how it would work in mission eight (when the lasers usually fall from the sky)because you would just have to change course and keep going, and in Mission 9 when the laser usually shoots straight, if it started falling from the sky the l;aser could damage its own tower/jamming facilities/power stations etc.

What they do
M8: they aim the laser in front of you. Time to evade by turning
M9: They aim where you are at. Time to evade by running

Now if they did this:
M8: They aim where you are at.
M9: they aim the laser in front of you.
It would be harder that way...

Err... I think it would be the same, if not easier.

If they aimed where you are when it falls out of the sky, you'ld only have 2-3 seconds to get out of the red area.

If they aimed in front of you when they shoot the laser, you'd have 3-4 seconds to change direction.

But you're running away from Excalibur in M8 and towards it in M9, so in M9 you're turning out of the red area whilst going towards Excalibur, whereas in M8 you're doing the same thing only going in the same direction.
