Since I got the okay from a mod, can we have another go at this? Pretty please? Also I guess post a link to a YT vid for the song because they should all be there.

For me, Closure, from Ace Combat 5, hands down. You can whine about the mission all ya want, but that soundtrack always puts a smile on my face. I found it good for studying, too.

Emancipation, Operation Bunkershot, Comona, Ancient Walls, Mayhem are all honorable mentions for me, too.

oh yay I love these threads

Night Butterfly, wasn't used in the game though since it's a mix and rearrange of some other songs.

Night and Day, AC2 version

Night and Day from AC, much chill very jazz-ish

and then I guess El Dorado as well. Too bad all these tracks had boring ass missions. I was sad when it turned out AC3D didn't have these tracks.

The only track that really stood out to me in AC3. Scylla and Charybdis was fuuuuuuun. I'm pretty sure it was used in some other missions as well but I can't remember so oh well.

This always gets me. Technically Air Combat 22 is the first AC game I saw. Too bad I was too much of a pansy to play it at the time.

Nothing will ever top Zero. I only wish we got to fight Pixy in his F-15C instead of the Morgan.

>not posting a version with the Morgan prologue

Why do this

Also I'll just come out here and say all three tracks from Unsung War's final stage are fantastic, and make that mission. Mayhem is also good, so is White Bird Part II (especially the intro), Diapason, the Infinity Stonehenge remix (Heresy I know), Scinfaxi, and Sea of Chaos.

Fairly standard top 10 and then some:

AC04: Megalith -Agnus Dei-

ACZ: Zero

AC5: The Unsung War

AC6: The Liberation of Gracemeria

AH: Keep Alive

ACZ: Avalon

AH: White Devil

ACX: Alect Squadron

AC3D: Fighter's Honor (Flying Remix)

ACZ: Diapason

ACI: Stonehenge (Infinity Remix)

ACI: Blue Skies (Infinity Remix)

Honorable mention - AC2: Fire Youngman

Okay that's enough spam from me. And it's still not even close to making the greatness of AC music justice. Hell, even the whole top 50 playlist isn't enough.
