I've played around with a bunch of variations, but I just don't feel I'm getting the best that I can from these two especially... Any guidance is appreciated.

Will post others later...

K...For the F-2A Nagase, I'd be using the Long Range datalink instead of Quick Reload, since like me, you're using it as a LASMkart, and whenever using sniping weapons, I always prioritize range to get first strike before the opposing team, plus it would go great with the LASM Range+Speed part (Also, given that you usually use LASMs to pick off a few SP enemies, I never found the quick reload link worth it, unless it's for the regular missiles). Speaking of that part, I'd swap out the Missile Homing L for SPW Propulsion L, since when I play as an attacker, I always prioritize only the A2G, since that's what it's for and their homing is terrible, plus it means your LASMs will be super fast AND have extra-extra (from the Datalink and part) long range. As for body slots, I never use the stealth parts except in TDM/NTDM; for coop, on an attacker like this, I'd probably use pitch or yaw parts to make it easier for the craft to adjust between targets.

I run mostly thematic loadouts, so you might see parts such as AP Machine Gun Ammo, depending on the real life gun cartridge it uses. They're not meant to be overly competitive, but they are still effective nonetheless based on my experiences and I thought I may as well ask for critique.

Now as for the loadouts themselves, most of them are theoretical, since I don't have the equipment leveled up yet (GPBs are still at level 4, the Taurus Lightning II will be stuck for a while at level 9 unless I get at least a 2 million credit crate, the Flash Raptor is at level 5 at the moment, and the Sulejmani Flatpack is at level 6).

You can swap reload L for destructive plans M if you want, but the only difference will be being able to one shot hard mode AD tanks/corvettes/bunkers. I don't know if you play enough hard for that to be relevant, especially since you already have LASMs to one shot them. Ideally you'd get another 12 slots and replace propulsion engine with missile kit M, but, y'know, that's a lot of slots.

Wild Weasel goes into the trash where it belongs.

There was a time I did that too, but I got frustrated not being able to mix and match special weapons (i.e., the Tomcat needs the LAAM because Phoenix, etc.)

Just because you aren't able to score well with it, don't assume the same for everybody else... So contribute something constructive or see yourself out of this thread, thank you very much.

So why the mobility parts at Level 15? Level 10 without mobility parts feels fine to me?

I've made those changes and they were a huge improvement...thanks

Hey, I gave you a good build for a plane you actually have. That's more than anyone else in this thread can say. It's not my fault the F4G is worthless since its cost is too low.

Because they aren't mobility parts, the exact opposite actually.

It makes SAAM viable at times in close range or with targeting multiple targets but is still pretty situational, best only if other parts don't provide an effective boost.

It's mostly personal preference.  It can mean that sometimes you can kill a pair of enemies that splits as you fire, but as ekirbo said it's pretty situational.  In general, it's better to take something else that buffs your standards more, or some such, but I won't say it's a bad part.

That's what I was thinking. MSLs are going to bring me into close range and sometimes right in the middle of the spawn. So, I'd like to have a close range secondary weapon ready to fire instead of waiting for MSLs to reload. QAAMs are another alternative, but it needs a lot of parts on hard to be viable.

HPAA are the answer. All they really need parts-wise is propulsion, maybe reload if you're willing to sacrifice another standard missile part. Assuming the aircraft assembler isn't lying, your SE's HPAA should be able to one shot hard reds without parts. QAAM have some fun maneuverability bullshit you can do, but like you said, very parts-intensive. HPAA, just slap on propulsion and blast things to your heart's content.

I embrace it because it *is* so unloved by everyone else... Level 20 Weasel is my long-term commitment...

Here are a few of my attacker classes at present:

May post fighter ones if anyone gives a toss. (Especially since I've always done much more A2A than A2G)

Yeah, but my ATD doesn't have HPAAs lol.

Your SE does, and they should still be strong enough to one-shot hard reds without parts. My Su-47 certainly can, and 725 Cst still has 750 Cst damage, right? If it's a fighter you want, plenty of 'em that can still one-shot hard reds with HPAA. Every fighter with HPAA from the F-15C forwards hits the 2880 threshold without parts. Out of all of 'em, Su-35 is probably the most cost-effective.

Su-33 gets my vote as the HPAA platform, but then again…I don't know how high of a level do you guys have it at, its not a bad plane to have.
