Heh, actually did have a thought a week ago but haven't gotten around to posting it. People have sorta glommed on to the notion that the protag has to be one of the nations shown, but I'm not so sure myself. Since they talk about this being a classic AC or at least a successor to the numbered ACs, I doubt they'll have a defined protagonist, but the Osean Raptor pilot definitely does speak in the trailer, in a sort of NPC pilot voice, so I doubt that's the Player Character. I don't think it's Erusea either though; given Kono's predilection towards internationalism, I was thinking the player character might be part of some Military NGO, either UN or perhaps the company/organization that built the Space Elevator. Would allow it to be a sort of Proto-AC3, where you switch between supporting and fighting different sides throughout the campaign as the ebb and flow of the war changes.
I think I have said this before, but the emblems on the aircraft might just be indicating that the game is in strangereal and not necessarily involving Osea or Erusea.
Just sit back relax and just wait for more information.
Nah, he clearly says 'your mine!' when the Raptor fires missiles out of its weapons pods.
No, we were both wrong. I just watch the trailer again and I notice there is two voices probably both voiced by the same actor, otherwise the pilot would be talking to himself.
"Don't lose him.", "Check your six.", "Bandit in the clouds.", "which clouds?", "On your twelve." he is obviously talking to someone.
Actually I thought he said "You're mad." I checked again and I still think he said that.
