PCSX2 1.1.0.5766, D3D11 Hardware rendering, 4x native resolution, texture filtering on.

No clue if it'll even work. Also, shocking as that may sound, it's my first time playing the game. As in, ever. So there's that.

So, the summary:

- gameplay looks ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, and fully functional

- player aircraft have no textures, which results in a somewhat cool black matte coating

- hangar is usable, but bugged the hell out

- some ground texture bugging, similar to ACZ

- vertical lines caused by rendering above native resolution, but this is a universal PS2 issue, and less noticeable on AC04 than other games due to a higher (640x448) native resolution

- SELECT FOR SPWs IS SHIT

- my god, ACX reused so much stuff

- The HUD in Lifeline is bugged out, only functional in cockpit view

you could fix the black aircraft by playing around with the video plugin settings, its been a while since I used it but their are ways to make them look right

I looked around, and all I found were settings using software rendering with speedhacks, which isn't optimal. I have recently acquired a beast of a machine, and even it can't run base software rendering at over 30 FPS. I'm trying to see what I can get out of hardware rendering.

I'll never get it at a good framerate because I don't have that high-end of a machine, but yeah, AC04 is the best-working of the bunch :D

Worth mentioning that PCSX2 has upgraded to stable version 1.2.1 over the past few days including the improvements over the past months.
