Stonehenge's shells have a travel time of over ten seconds. Wouldn't that make it impossible to hit a fighter making evasive maneuvers?

The slug fired from the railgun doesn't necessarily have to be a direct hit. The fact it has been launched at high velocity creates a mid-air shockwave of destructive power that's visible in the game. LOLICANINTOGAMEPHYSICS

Also, the travel time of a launched slug is dependant on the variable of distance to target, thus altering the amount of time needed to evade; it can be shorter or longer, since Skyeye warns of a Stonehenge volley between 20 and 30 seconds before it actually arrives (Deep Strike & Tango Line). Admittedly, pilots would be rather stupid to not take time to reach a lower altitude if they got such a large heads up.
