Common data files not found. And also, this happens when I run the exe, not within the game.

EDIT: Hey, could this be because of the placement of the game within my computer?

Uh, have you checked there are some files with .rsu and .rsp extensions in the game folder?

Yep. It's from the official website, so I don't see what can be wrong with the files.

Have the folders listed in this way: (n.b: forget those suspicious-named folders, they're mods)


So, yeah. I'm currently working with the English translation and such, especially with the vanilla RS3.

Are you sure that the game folder isn't using Japanese letters or so?

Ohkay, I got RS3rd up and running, but Re-Birth.rsp is screwed up. Gets in game, title image is black on one side, white on the other. Fine, maybe an image screwup in the process. I go to Start -> New Game -> Easy. I can't see my plane. No plane or weapon to choose from on the list either. I patched it with v354, no luck. Whas goin on?

Oh, that issue. I once had that issue too. My only way to fix it is by randomly putting stuff all over the place (i.e by copying the whole rs3original\Geophilia\ content to the main RS3 folder).

Otherwise, is your Geophilia folder is in rs3original\ folder?

Now I managed to get the title screen to be completely black. What an improvement.

If you get instant mission failure, try to mess with the loadout first (the third option, the first option/main pylon, and finally the Activation Code)
