Depends, were you playing on mercenary, soldier or knight?

It appears in the soldier path, in the mercenary appears a Su-47 Grabacr and in knight path appears an ace with the Yellow 13 scheme, Reinke it was?

He said that because in ACZ mission 10, you engage at an Ofnir F-15S/MTD.

[off topic]
Yes, in Soldier path IIRC, you engage a F-15S named "Ofnir"

In Mercenary, a Su-47 named "Grabacr" appears attacking Bartlett. If you shoot him down before he takes Bartlett a "Hold fire" warning appears (you're changing history)

Edit: sorry for repeating what you guys said before, now realise it

If you do that, Bartlett never met Pops, in AC5 the Wardog squad didn't have a mechanic and the Circum-Pacific war ended with Cinigrad destroyed, and also, Razgriz never flew even the first time and maybe the SOLG smashed into Oured.

You obviously never played ACZ then..

Yes I have. It's just been a while.

Don't you mean AC5?
Also, he's probably talking about the Su-47s that intercept you. They could easily be mistaken for Ofnir.

No, In AC5 Ofnir flys Su-"35"s. It's the Grabacr, AKA 8492, that flys F-15S/MTDs. (And you don't fight them in "8492" either. Onec they draw you in thear trap they fly away.)

He said that because in ACZ mission 10, you engage at an Ofnir F-15S/MTD.

Hmm, I don't recall that.

Depends, were you playing on mercenary, soldier or knight?

All three.

Engage him within B7R over the mountains towards the middle, sometimes he chases you

Used F-2 with the Cypher paint scheme, using run n' gun technique, didnt know the standard missles tracked that well at high speed, its a very effective tactic, i hit about 7/10 targets that way.

OK, no more yap about Zero, or I nuke the thread.

Back on topic -

There are several videos out about it. Just manage to turn right in front of the group and throttle back almost to a stall, so they'll stack up right in front of you.

I swear, you can down 6-8 planes in seconds at gun range.

Of course, you need an aircraft with a low stall speed. Flankers can do it, I'm glad to say. Don't know who else, though.

Whem ever I do something like that, about half of them would break formation.

I'm a fan of the "Just turn circles until you accidentally get missile lock" technique. Keeps me from getting killed.

Don't let them get on your six. And when they do end up on your six, don't let them stay there.

Timing is everything. :P

Taking them out in big groups isn't as fun for me. I like to pick them off one-by-one. ;)

And I'm a fan of "run outta here and continue the attack" technique, I can take a little break and have a Head-on kill BTW.

Im a fan of the "Full Afterburner as soon as the mission starts and get the f*ck out of there" method. Not as point effective as trying to fight but it sure works! :P

If I am bored, I just dog fight them, but I usually just do what the briefing states, get the hell outta there. For that, I just drop and zig-zag through the mountains heading east.

Has anyone figured out the way to destroy nearly all the 8492 squadron on the mission "8492"? I have figured out a way it its freaking awesome! What is your strategy to defeat all the planes(including the E-767 jammers) in ACE mode and without using the Falken

i use xmaa to shoot them all and go fast f-22 razgriz
