Share the best tuning setups for your planes. Obvious enough. Some planes are just bad at handling, but maybe we can help people if we can get an organized list of good tuning setups.

F15-E
Engine - Rocket Motor MOD
Wing - Adv. Actuator
Armor - Light Armor
Avionics - Aces Amulet

F-15S/MTD (I actually use this one over the F15-E simply because the SASMs are superior to all else. This and the SU-37 are the only real-world planes I use online)
Engine - Cadual Engine OR Minotaur Engine
Wing - Adv. B. Wing Body
Armor - Beatle Armor
Avionics - Earth Shaker (For Wide Lock On)

YF-23A
Engine - Hayabusa Engine
Wing - Adv. Actutator
Armor - Diffusion Coat
Avionics - Sniper OS

F-14D by KinG_Bob
Engine - Hayabusa Engine
Wing - Adv. B. Wing Body
Armor - Special Alloy Armor
Avionics - Aces Amulet

F-22 Raptor by Raptor 1 'Dragonheart'
Engine - Cadual Engine
Wing - Adv. Actuator
Armor - Beatle Armor
Avionics - Argus

F/B-22 by SargeTheDuck

Engine: Uranus
Wing: Extra Hardpoint
Armour: Adv. Titanium
Avionics: Salamander

MiG-31 by SargeTheDuck
Engine: Turbo RAMJet
Wing: Thornback Fin
Armour: Either TiAl or Extra Hardpoint depending on what you want to do
Avionics: Advanced Fire Control system

SU-27 by KinG_Bob
Engine - Rocket Motor MOD
Wing - Adv. B. Wing Body
Armor - Adv. Titanium
Avionics - Aces Amulet

SU-37
Engine - C-Cycle Engine
Wing - Adv. Actuator
Armor - N/A (All the armors for this steal mobility or speed. You could use Special Alloy to avoid getting outright murdered, though)
Avionics - Argus (Double lock-on and a slight Sniper OS effect. Salamander is a weaker version of this.)

SU-37 by Broth3r
Engine - Mercury Engine
Wing - Adv. Actuator
Armor - Adv. Titanium
Avionics - Argus

SU-47 (Basically the F15/MTD of the Russian real world planes, lol)
Engine - C-Cycle Engine
Wing - Adv. Actuator
Armor - N/A
Avionics - Argus

Forneus
Engine - Hayabusa Engine
Wing - Adv. B. Wing Body
Armor - Diffusion Coat (extra stealth? Yes plz)
Avionics - Sniper OS

Cariburn
Engine - C-Cycle Engine
Wing - Sylph Wing
Armor - Special Alloy
Avionics - Argus

XFA-24 (Whyyy, Namco, whyyy is it so nerfed. These settings make it bearable, at least. It handles mostly like the F-15S/MTD in this respect.)
Engine - Cadual Engine OR Minotaur Engine
Wing - Adv. B. Wing Body
Armor - Beatle Armor
Avionics - Earth Shaker

Fenrir
Engine - Rocket Motor MOD
Wing - Adv. A-Balance Tab
Armor - Light Armor
Avionics - Hawk Eye (At least you can try to predict flight paths?)

Falken
Engine - Cadual Engine
Wing - Extra V-Canard
Armor - Light Armor
Avionics - Terra Hammer

X-02 Wyvern
Engine - Mercury Engine
Wing - Adv. V. Sweep Wing
Armor - Light Armor
Avionics - Salamander (Same as Argus)

Varcolac (URRGGHHHHH)
Engine - Rocket Motor MOD
Wing - Thornback Fin
Armor - Light Armor
Avionics - GAF-1 Type AA

Varcolac by TK 421
Engine - Hayabusa Engine
Wing - Extra V. Canard
Armor - Light Armor
Avionics - GAF-1 Type AA

SU-37
Engine - Mercury Engine
Wing - Adv. Actuator
Armor - Adv Titanium
Avionics - Argus

This set up makes use of the rare Mercury Engine, only available on it and the Wyvern. Adv Titanium gives it 2/3rds of a full bar, allowing it to survive a QAAM hit with more than enough health spare for eventual gun hits.
It comes at a cost, though: it is severely underpowered, so disengaging from a heated battle is nearly impossible.

It is one of my VS set ups.
(now why did I posted it just before an online tourney? oh, the hell with it)

I might post some more, not only real fighters. Fakes do not deserve decent set-ups.

Actually, this statement just bugs me. I see it a lot on this site. Why do people dis on the non-real planes so much? I see it so much on this site, and it bothers me because, well, what if someone happens to LIKE the designs. Frankly, I look at the Forneus as a more futuristic Black Widow II, so wtf is what I wanna know.

It's not that most people don't like them. Hell, I love the Wyvern's design.
The problem with them is simple: they're cheap.

Okay. So in a no holds barred Battle Royale, do you still shack up with that SU-37 when you know full well that at least one player will be in the Wyvern or the Cariburn, tuned for absolute ass kickage?... Then again, I guess I can see the appeal of a real-world craft owning a super jet on the sheer superiority of the pilot.

Well, to each their own, I guess. I guess I'll be the only one to make good settings for the special fighters... Except the Varcolac. It's a dildo with wings.

Alrighty, let's see what we have here, forgive my setups if they are underpowered becuase I am still missing the da armour, and yes, I do know how to get it, but the game doesn't like me.

F-4
No engine
Adv b. Wing body
Beatle armour
Ace amulet
Turns it into a decent SP plane

F-18
C-cycle
Adv b wing body
Beatle armour
Ace amulet
This is much faster than the F-4 but the F-4's paint looks cooler. Heh.

F-15
Rocket motor
Adv actuator
Light armour
Fenrir ecms
Krap armour but handles like a... Uhh... Slippery fish?

F-15mtd
Caudial engine
Adv b wing body
Beatle armour
Earth shaker
This plane is pretty useless. But it has armour at least.

F-5E
No engine
Adv b wing body
Beatle armour
Ace amulet
You don't want to fly this... Its just bad.. The F-4 is a better choice. Very nerfed from AC squadron leader. (AC5)

A-6E
Ramjet engine
Extra elron
Titanium armour
Aces amulet.
Its a low flying bomber, hence, high armour and the amulet

X-29A
Combined cycle engine
Adv actuator
Special alloy armour
Ace amulet.
This plane = mr bean's mini with italian job handling.

F-14D
Hayabusa engine
Adv wing body
Special alloy armour
Ace amulet.
A good plane when used correctly.

A-10A
Ramjet engine
Extra elron
Titanium armour
Ace amulet.
I only use this on that 'nuclear fuel' mission, as I get annoyed when I get surprised by the ageis then have to restart mission, so I use this, but beware, without the ramjet engine, you can't even catch the helicopters.

YF-23A
Combined cycle engine
Adv actuator
Diffusion coat
Aam jammer
We all have our own setup, but I hardly use this plane so I just leave it like this.

I'm gonna start getting to my most used planes now, I don't wanna spend the rest of my life talking.

Mig 31
Turboramjet engine
Adv actuator
Light armour
Fenrir ecms
Insanely fast and with enough manoeuvrability to take out the 'dumbass' squadron.

Su-27
Rocket motor mod
Adv b wing
Adv titanium aces amulet
Super strong and agile fighter.

Su-37
Mercury engine
Adv actuator
No armour
Tracer
What I said earlier about the su-27's mobility? A lie! This thing can turn on a dime. And even inside the missile silo tunnels..

Su-47
Light engine
Adv actuator
Adv titanium
Tracer
Its not bad its a lot better than most other planes for sure, and I think the speed bar is glitched on this one.

S-32
Pointless, the '47 is better than it in every way.

Forneus
Hayabusa
Adv b wing body
Nera armour
Aces amulet.
With this setup you can't die, you have enough armour to take 2 missiles and still go back to 0% damage. This is the most overpowered plane, nuff said.

X-02
Scramjet engine
Adv actuator
Light armour
Fenrir ecms
Speeeeeeeeeeedd turrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnn speeeeeeeeeeed tuuuurrrrrrrnnnnn! Nuff said. Just watch out for missiles, make dodging your primary concern if your speed is below 2300kph. And it should always be higher than that, there is no excuse.

Varcolac
Spaztic guitar engine
Extra FAIL carnard
Rocket thrusters armour
NAF-1 type NO
Don't tell me you haven't unlocked those parts yet? They come standard with the varcolac. XD my aplotgies varcolac fans.

F6F-5
Adv turbo engine
No wing (that sounds so stupid)
Light armour
Aces amulet.
Ever seen a ww2 prop fighter break the sound barrier?

Well that's enough from me.

I can see the abuse, but i do think it's silly to bar them entirely. Well, some people like the idea of phallic flying.

I actually don't fly it period, so i haven't even bothered to tune it, lol. I guess I'll go on Youtube and find that one guy's setup of it and post it in the first post.

Its chief appeal is that one of its avionics can give it Sniper OS with a whole mess of other effects, but that's all it's got goin' for it.

I tried this. It handles a bit like my tuned Cariburn, just a bit slower (Yeah, I started trying out the settings to make sure they were *good*).

Between Cariburn and Varcolac, I'm torn now. Aside from the aesthetics appeal Cariburn has, Varcolac, while being slightly inferior in general to my Cariburn in everything but defense (Cariburn takes only one hit to go down in Ace, Varc takes three) does have an equal loadout to Cariburn with ODMMs, QAAMs, and it gets LSWM. To clinch the deal, it also has Sniper OS, which makes Sulejmani a breeze in the last mission. If anything, Varc seems like the plane to use now when it comes to close-range dog fighting.

Relax, I don't use the specials in versus except the X-02.

The X-02 is also a superplane, the thing is cheaper than all the other superplanes combined.

Remember there's that function the host has that says "Real World Planes Only" ? I only use the X-02 when that function is off. Otherwise, I'm strictly SU-37 and f-15S/MTD.

TK you do realise that its not honourable nor respected to cheat. All it shows is someone needs cheats to play the game. Meaning that you can't play properly.

I'd like to bump and request sticky. Some other players could be looking for badass setups to work toward as well.
