...well, damn. Good find, Inquisitor; I was down to three when I saw your post. I'd have never figured out Ibis in Hell Bound, though. I kept accumulating too many points to finish leveling the Area Garden before hitting 16,000 and winning, so I changed tactics and tried to score minimal points before I got there; apparently that kept me from getting 5,000 points though. Yuck.

Anyhow, quick note about Springer in Avalon: you can turn around once you hit the dam and hunt him down like Ritter, Bauer and the rest, so the valley run isn't your only shot at him.

162 17- Bauer X-29A - Appears inside the tunnel after you destroy 1 out of 3 V2 CTRL targets.

About Bauer, he doesn't seem to appear if you fly out the Avalon's Facility after you've gone inside. Hmmm

Actually, I usually find him whenever I go for a second pass through Avalon(heading south). He flies up through one of the access ports if you don't get to him fairly quickly, though.

I'm surprised no one's come in with a Jack Bauer joke.

Perhaps you gonna hate me for that, but why don't you just take the freedom of looking up FAQs for lists, so you can make your work easier, since you do a lot of work typing down all the aces' bios.
All aces listed here, so you have a reference and know where and how to get them.

That's weird, he doesn't appear when I fly out (going out)

Er... anyway, I'll try to help you guys complete the 168 aces list (since I don't remember how some of the aces came out)

ADLER? W T F

Omg its Adler! xD

Wow, the guy whose "Sacrifice would never be forgotten" who got blown up with the Arkbird appeared in the Belkan War. He must have been real old then by AC5 unless he was like Grimm's age during the Belkan War. xD

Since adler just means eagle, there's probably no connection.

Exactly Adler as Zaku points out is eagle in german/Belkan, so
really there is probably no connection to the Adler in the Arkbird B)

Yeah, I just read his ingame info myself, and it says he is KIA...though it does also say that it was under mysterious circumstances and his body was never found.

I'm pretty sure there is no connection.

Like Zaku and Mike say, it's just that both are german. There are so many birds among the Aces:
Beo, Bachstelze, Eisvogel, Adler, Rabe, Nachtigall ...
And other "things" in german.
Anwalt (lawyer), Wolkenwand (cloudwall/wall of clouds), Bergnebel (maountainfog), Spinger (jumper), Glueck (should be Gl├╝ck = luck/fortune, now look at the bio! B) ) ...

Does anybody want a list with the callsigns translated? I'd make one.

AC#Z was made AFTER AC#05. Why do people think, NAMCO plans all their games 20 years in advance? Come on guys, you're neither stupid nor immature enough to think, everything leads to everything.

A'right.
Would you prefer a single thread ("AC#Z Ace names translations") or should I post it in here?

But be warned. I looked up everything I didn't know myself (e.g. "Suerte" and all I discoverd was, it has to be spanish, but that's all) but couldn't find out proper information for all the names. Embarassing not to do a complet list, but, well, most things are easy to do for me. I'll start then. Will take some time.

[edit:]
03:35 am (in Germany): started.
06:15 am (in Germany): finished.

So where to post? Advise me.

Suerte? If I remember correctly, it translates to "Luck"

BTW, has anyone completed the Assault Record?

I've had it done for a few days now...I just wish it were more worthwhile, from a plot perspective. Silber suggests that the Falcons of Dawn make ACZ superior to AC5 in that department, but having a dozen Belkan terrorists mixed in with everybody else just doesn't seem that hot to me given the open topics they could have addressed. Come on: 169 aces and not a single mention of the Patri-I mean, the Grey Men?

Of course, all that Free Mission work on Ace left me with a full set of S ranks, so I got a nice little quote from Wolfgang Buchner:

http://forums.acecom...?showtopic=1602

Anyhow, I've been a lazy bastard so I need to go back in and fill out the Free Missions in Normal, Hard and Expert for the medals and the last million bucks or so I need to purchase special weapons. Somewhere in there I need to start shooting more, so I can pick up Expert Marksman, but...that's all I've got left.

I have pages 1, 4 and 8 completed on Assault records and have like.....20 or so left to find if that.......probably less or closer to 10. There's an F-15 S/MTD called Ofnir in the one mission. And you can shoot down Huckebein and see his real name and whatnot. Been lookin to see if you can shoot down the "Major" from 5 and find out her real name but I doubt it. I think that the "Dr." of Gault eventually starts up Grabac or Ofnir or is at least one of the Greymen. They never find his body and the tombstone is waaaaaaaay to ominous. Plus Gault and the Su-47's that Ofnir and Grabac use in Unsung War are a very similair color scheme.

As I'm sure can be said for a lot of you guys here on the board, I've pretty much played through the game about 4 times and played pretty much non-stop at that.
