So I'm making this topic to know where each Ace is shot down and where and their history. I've shot down all 169 aces, and will be constantly updating this.

I must of been tired when I wrote that but I could of swore it said KIA even though most of them are really MIA..

On the assualt record it says there are 168 aces, and they aren't evenly spread through the Ace Styles apparently, I've got something like 60 of them and I've only played as a Knight. it could be that some appear no matter what, I'm not sure just yet.
Some of them are a pain to get... forget their names, but one is in a B-2, and the others are a two-man team in F-2s. I already forget what the trigger is, but I think it's blowing up the second wave of all the crap on top of the Hresvelgr. By the time I got to them and back (at full afterburner, mind you), I barely had enough space between the Hres for a head on attack against the cockpit. The three Grau(name) teams in Mayhem are also a pain, what with Schwarze, Silber, or Schnee chasing after you. I'll write down who've I gotten later...

Most aces are really split evenly among ace styles but there are those that appear under ACE diff or certain conditions alotted after the normal aces for each mission. Like for example X mission there are 3 for merc, 3 for soldier, 3 for knight, and also there's 1-2 that appear on any style under certain condition and another 1-3 for ACE Difficulty that may appear on any style or a specific one.
So if you have shotdown all the usual aces on certain mission or style and yet you find an open slot inbetween them and those from the next mission/style, then it's most likely one of those i mentioned.
Just as a note, M4. Juggernaut & M.7 Bastion have quite a number of aces that appear if you destroy all, certain or don't destroy certain kind of targets.
So if you have shotdown all the usual aces on certain mission or style and yet you find an open slot inbetween them and those from the next mission/style, then it's most likely one of those i mentioned.

Yeah, its just insane how many there are, I mean, I've probably got almost every Knight Ace, but that's barely scratching the surface.

Ugh. I've got like nine holes left: two in Juggernaut's Gelnikos path, four in Bastion, two in Lying in Deceit and one in Final Overture's Mercury or Jupiter paths. Odds are I won't pick any of 'em up until somebody figures out what the triggers are and posts them...we're waaay beyond "play the mission on Ace and fly to grid square (blah)."
Tempest: As I recall, the trigger for aces when you're fighting XB-O is simply shooting down the two SU-37s that spawn nearby once you take out Espada. From there, it's pretty easy to turn south, bag the fighters with a pair of head-on XLAAs, turn north and put another pair into each B-2 from behind. Of course, it's even easier with the FALKEN...

BTW, I translated all this info from a Japanese site someone posted some time ago, before anyone starts deleting my post saying I cut&paste/stole it from Gfaqs or something... I also added some info to pinpoint the location or be prepared to kill some of the aces.

...well, damn. Good find, Inquisitor; I was down to three when I saw your post. I'd have never figured out Ibis in Hell Bound, though. I kept accumulating too many points to finish leveling the Area Garden before hitting 16,000 and winning, so I changed tactics and tried to score minimal points before I got there; apparently that kept me from getting 5,000 points though. Yuck.
Anyhow, quick note about Springer in Avalon: you can turn around once you hit the dam and hunt him down like Ritter, Bauer and the rest, so the valley run isn't your only shot at him.

I've had it done for a few days now...I just wish it were more worthwhile, from a plot perspective. Silber suggests that the Falcons of Dawn make ACZ superior to AC5 in that department, but having a dozen Belkan terrorists mixed in with everybody else just doesn't seem that hot to me given the open topics they could have addressed. Come on: 169 aces and not a single mention of the Patri-I mean, the Grey Men?

Anyhow, I've been a lazy bastard so I need to go back in and fill out the Free Missions in Normal, Hard and Expert for the medals and the last million bucks or so I need to purchase special weapons. Somewhere in there I need to start shooting more, so I can pick up Expert Marksman, but...that's all I've got left.
Maybe the G-Men are somehow related to that, uh, what is it? Rald Party?
I have pages 1, 4 and 8 completed on Assault records and have like.....20 or so left to find if that.......probably less or closer to 10. There's an F-15 S/MTD called Ofnir in the one mission. And you can shoot down Huckebein and see his real name and whatnot. Been lookin to see if you can shoot down the "Major" from 5 and find out her real name but I doubt it. I think that the "Dr." of Gault eventually starts up Grabac or Ofnir or is at least one of the Greymen. They never find his body and the tombstone is waaaaaaaay to ominous. Plus Gault and the Su-47's that Ofnir and Grabac use in Unsung War are a very similair color scheme.

I Think the ace No.164 or 165, which should be the Typhoon, which is the Typhoon called Pyoshka could very well be the Major from AC5. Former Yuke pilot and had given info instrumental in finding out about the "World with No Boundries" plans for V2. The "Major" also was instrumental in finding out about V2 and the SOLG.
