I Think the ace No.164 or 165, which should be the Typhoon, which is the Typhoon called Pyoshka could very well be the Major from AC5. Former Yuke pilot and had given info instrumental in finding out about the "World with No Boundries" plans for V2. The "Major" also was instrumental in finding out about V2 and the SOLG.
"She remained loyal to the Prime Minister and his vision of peace."
Well, I doubt a woman eager to restore peace is willing to fight for terrorists. Even if 15 years lie between the wars and this is definately enough time to change one's mind several times - I doubt she is. She's a recon major! RECON! She has no time to fly. That's not her job (okay, she could have transferred ...).
Go shoot down Pyoshka and see, if the pilot is female AND survived. This should answer this question.
Honestly, without any intentions of offending, most of you jump to fast into conclusions.

Whats up Zadkiel, only 4 left? Thats awesome. As far a Eisente goes, all I can tell you is that he flies a MiG-21bis, unfortunatley I don't recall what mission he is found in. I do recall playing through on Hard in free mission mode though if that helps. Good hunting

Well, he shows up when you fly with Jupiter Stike Team for that mission. The list in the front of this thread tries to make an exact way to make him show up. But the best advice I can give is shoot down everything as much as possible and leave one standing and wait until the timer goes past 18:45. I myself got him before I knew what it took to get him. So a little bit of luck and speed should get him to pop up in due time.
Woohoo I got two Aces left, I'll be updating this soon. Spoliers BIG SPOILERS....
Yellow 13 served in the Belkan war, But in the Reiher Squadron, His name is Erich Klinsmann, the little model has Y13's Paint scheme. His Ace NO. 101

Wow, Yellow 13 is from Belka? Never expected that.
I was speculating about if a Yellow flet to Belka after the Erusian War (Ace Yellow in AC#05). Makes even more sense, since other pilots may have followed Yellow 13 to Erusia ... and returned back home after getting contaced by Grey Men and asked for support (just an idea

Bartlett is on your side, with the osean air force, piloting a F-14D in "Mayhem" (Mission 10 I think). Pops is there too, called "Huckebein", piloting a MiG-21bis. You should find them any difficulty, but only in Mercenary style (for Pops has to be engaged by Schwarze, which only appears during the Mercenary path). Maybe Bartlett is to find at Soldier and Knight too, but don't count on it.
Hamilton was far too young by that time, he's not in the game.

Bartlett starts out somewhere right in front of you, just as the level begins.
The guy who said Hamilton probably meant Grabacr. Same level/style, but only on Ace, I believe. Ofnir is also in the Soldier version of Mission 10.

Holy Crap Zad - Your addicted !! Sure wish I had all of them.... Working on it sure, but I'm also trying to avoid burnout if that makes any sense. I spent all day last sunday playing from probably noon, until about 10:00 p.m. that night!! But I'm only about 3/4 of the way to obtaining all of them.
This is just a guess, but I noticed it nonetheless. Playing mission 2 I've never come across the ace named Glueck? or Gluck? But it's intrigued me and I've gotta have it - as it's my familie's name. Well, it was before WW2 broke out, but I noticed he only appears when I play that mission in Free Mode & only once have I seen him there. Are these Ace's randomly placed or are there definate locations that you can nab them?

guys, I am having some trouble locating the last ace, #112, MiG-31 Riese.
I followed the instructions in the guide, scored at least 10,000 points, killed all 5 MiG-31s in 2 MiG-21 formation, and 1 3-MiG31 formation, on Ace Mercenary, I found the F117 and F-23 aces, but not the MiG31 ace, any ideas?
The aircraft I was using was a Morgan, and I generally finish the level in about 8 minutes or so, I am doing this in the Free Mission mode. Any suggestions?
Zadkiel
May 17 2006, 07:46 AM
I think you have to destroy all the Mig-31's in that level. From there a plane should appear at the southeast and head northwest. I did it on ace and it seems the style doesn't matter. Can't recall Gluek.
I exercise about 2 hrs every day and to pass the time I'll play PS2 or Xbox while exercise biking so thats how I got all medals/aces/planes/weapons/colors/e.t.c.
Geist
May 17 2006, 11:04 AM
If it's just about writing, Glück > Glueck > Gluck.
Should appear as Mercenary and on Normal.
Riese should appear after you wiped out all the units in the farest northern region. As Mecenary and on Ace. Comes from the north with several planes.

I have gotten all the Aces except #164 I believe. The reasons for having all the aces (while anti-climactic) served it's purpose in adding replay value. Adding more plane colors, money, and back-ground info to the Ace Combat Universe each time you shoot down another hidden ace sure has kept me addicted the past couple weeks. I have over 30 games for PS2/Xbox and I've only been playing the Ace Combats the last 2 weeks. Damn aces, I've almost cought them all...
So is Mobius 1 a hidden ace as well?

Once you unlock the "Gauntlet" mission you need to play it on Ace and beat the aces quickly as possible. When Wizard shows up there should only be 4 and they'll get blown up by an F/A-22 called "Mobius". Its fun to fight him.

Gauntlet is a SP Mission out of any line of story! I mean, most of al Ace Squadrons at the same time and place? w00t? No, definately. The Aces are part of The Belkan War. Mobius One is not. As you said. It's fun to fight him. And there nothing more behind him.
Giving him a name would destroy the legend.

I don't think it was meant to be story-related, just a test of your skills. As an Easter Egg (I suppose) Mobius shows up in the Raptor to excite fans of 04. I was kinda tuff (dang super-health!) but I got him in 1 go. I think throughout the Ace Combat games, the hidden aces are meant to increase replay value. I have all of them in 04, 5 (I'm pretty sure) and now in Zero. Total play time (I've owned 04 twice by the way) has to be over 1 hundred hours, so Namco knows how to make you play through a game several times.
Plus, those 169 named pilots sure put the "Ace" in Ace Combat!

If you're not sure if you got all in 05, why not going to the medals section and see if you got the medal for "shooting down all special colored palnes in one mission" (or something close to that).
