I've updated the first post with ace NO.027 to NO.031, I'll be adding more in a minute, just had to edit the list incase my computer froze or something.
Edit: Warlord, or any other Mod can you edit the title so it reads 169 instead of 168 I made a typo with it. Theirs infact 169 aces, thanks to YPH for clearing that up. Thanks in advance.

Alright, you score.
Wow, Yellow 13 is from Belka? Never expected that.
I was speculating about if a Yellow flet to Belka after the Erusian War (Ace Yellow in AC#05). Makes even more sense, since other pilots may have followed Yellow 13 to Erusia ... and returned back home after getting contaced by Grey Men and asked for support (just an idea

).
The Belkan War took place 10 years
before the Continental War depicted in AC4. You may note that, in the final interview with Pixy, 10 years
after the Belkan War, there's an ISAF flag flying outside the window he's in front of.
Actually, I haven't been able to distinguish
any number on the Yellow Ace (Rehier?) plane.
And as for Yellow 13 being from Belka? Well, one of us was.....

Dude.
I don't have the game.
Blame NAMCO for the September-release of Zero in Europe.
I didn't relate Yellow 13 with the ace "Yellow" from AC#05. I fear I didn't divided the two thoughts back in my post.
Like this:
IF Yellow 13 was Reiher (if I said), he gets shot down, survivies, moves to Erusia, some other belkan pilots follow him (maybe they could have been hired (offered amnesty?).
10 years later, Yellow 13 dies over Farbanti (most likely), 15 other (self-named?) Yellows try to defend Megalith, fail and the war is over. Maybe some of these pilots (after being captured and being released again, or some even were still on the ground back then) who are belkan in origin, move back the Belka and fly again, this time, for the Grey Men's vision of total war.
That's all. An idea. Nothing more.
I'm okay with that you are the real-life AC-Aquila.
Still, may I add that I find it extremely childish to related yourself too deep with the game's squadron?
But go on. It's your stuff.

I got, what he asked.
The pilot you mean, kazuya, is "Ashley", the original Grabacr pilot and leader of the squadron in AC#05.
Actually, NAMCO wanted Ashley to be the one who shot down Pops and Bartlett.
Then they made AC#Z and wanted to let both appear somewhere. But as they are indicated enemies, you as the player can shoot them. And they appear in the kill record, to fill a polt hole (if they hadn't appeared, we would've wonder why).
Note that Grabacr does shoot down Pops, if you don't get him quickly enough (or Pos before him).
This is the first time an Ace Combat is that deeply linked with another, so just bear with it.

I just meant it more in the way, like Zadkiel formulated it, it's quite a prequel.

Thing I hate about the aces in ACZ is that, aside from the Squadrons, some of the same aces appear in every game difficulty, for example, Wolkenwand, the E/A-18 jammer.
I think they should make it much harder, so you have to play every ace style on every difficulty to beat it fully...

Aces like Wolkenwand have a tactical meaning, making the game harder as the jamming really is annoying. The first time I had to deal with the EA-6B over Excalibur, I was a bit ... enraged.
"$§%§/§%&"/%§"/% JAMMER, GTFO my view!"

And, well, for Riese, Beo, Schakal and Bauer I did consult a FAQ. That's the ones I can remember. And there wasn't many I missed ... only those remaining from different Ace Styles on Hard/Expert/Ace and those appearing on Normal only. Less than 30.

If you can't do it with a MiG-31 like you said, go practice. I've seen a F/A-18C do it (youtube.com, search for the Excalibur mission videos).
Therefore, every plane as fast as the Hornet or even faster can do it.
I did it in the F-4E. Took me a few tries, but I did it.

No, you should be able to find them in their respective missions in Free Mission; try the lowest-listed difficulty level if they still don't show up. There seems to be a mission or two where a lower difficulty is necessary to get one particular ace or another to appear(the MiG-21 ace in 14C is one of them, IIRC).
It's always possible that some might only appear in the full campaign mode(I did get a lot of them from campaigns, myself), but I'm not aware of any specifically.

May 9 2007, 08:02 AM
You have to destroy a certaint amount of MiG-31a and MiG-21s...
Get a plane with good speed, agility and X*AAs. (F-15C works just fine)
Geist
May 9 2007, 08:40 AM
Su-37 or Typhoon with XLAA do this finer.
Blast the team of 4 MiG-21's, then head to the cluster ahead (furthest group of targets to the southeast). Take them all out, 3 MiG-31's appear.
Then continue to the northwest and look for planes ... single planes on radar most likely are groups (the thee other planes per group will be spawned when getting closer). Other single planes are aces.
Hunt down all MiG-31's and 21's this way, then the ace should appear. Check the gamefaqs.com faq on this ... my memory might be blurred here.
