This sounds neat...I'm working on my fic, and a squadron of mine needs a logo...could it be the Ace of Spades, Diamonds, Hearts and Clubs, in any pattern that you choose? Make it a bit bigger than the size of my current avatar.

make a round one
size would be 2.5 to 3 inches diameter
In vole the following text
top: Sea Haven Ministry of Defense
Bottom: "In caelo, unus cornus pugnatoris multis."
Use this emblem

make a round one

Taken a step further, it has to be of a high enough quality to be printed on a shirt or a large poster. No pixelation, so I'd say large enough to fill a 800x768 screen.

I'd like to request help of you more experienced people.
My attempt at Adobe Photoshop failed. I'm still learning, but you know, I just don't seem to get things done right.
Please take a look:
This insignia is supposed to be the one of my fictional squadron "Aurum".
But, well, it didn't come out like I wished, so I dropped it. I intended to reduce the size, so some ugly parts would have been laminated.
If anyone would be so kind to try making a better one (which sure is easy for you experts), I'd be very grateful.
As a reference, use the one above.
I'd like to have somthing similar to "Schwarze"'s insignia, including the follwoing text:
"7th Air Division"
and
"24th Tactical Fighter Wing"
The insignia should include a lion (I'd prefer a drawn and/or symbolic one, but couldn't find one, so I used the artwork) and "Au", since this is short for "Aurum" on the periodic table. It means "gold" btw. A little hint that the squadron pilots Typhoons would be nice, too.
It's okay if it looks like some shield (like Indigo's) with quarters, having a lion, a typhoon, the "Au" and some other "filler" for the fourth quarter (a shiled-like emblem would be nice indeed - just another idea I had).
You can use this one http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b236/Tjamat/insignia.png . It's the same I used fo my attempt (for I like the laurels).
In any case, thanks for reading this and for every effort you might put into something for me. I appreciate it, thank you really much.

) in the center. Also, in its own gray-light gray colored section (as in the above image), the word "Blanc" (in white letters of course) should stand out a little more.

yea i could change the font, but for the "74th TFW" thing is out of the range GIMP can do, and im still a n00b with PS

Couldn't you just delete the 74th BTFW and just redo it on the bottom part?

there only 2 ways to arch text that would be "text circle" and "text curve"
I can put the 74th BTFW on the top part of the circle, but not on the bottom, because it will blur.

1.right click on the image and go to properties
2.highlight the image URL(the whole URL) and copy it
3.then paste the url in the post
4.highlight that URL on your post again then click on the button that looks like a tree
OR
type [img] on the left of the url and [\img] on the right side of the URL

EDIT: I took both pictures, and decided found that each had it's own good part. I took them to Microsoft paint and edited them together.
Here's what I came up with.
And no, I don't make emblems, I just took what Spectre made me and edited them in a paint program.

Yeah, the Ibisleigh emblem is blue. It's how it's always been.
And it came up with a black background when I melded the pics together in a paint program.

Yeah, I don't know why it was blue when he posted it, but that's how it is.
I changed the color in my fanfic, and anyway, blue stands out more on black camo, the way I like it.

Ok, due to the complete lack of image editing software on my new computer, I'm going to put this job up to you guys.
I need a patch for the Sins Squadrion of the S&S containing the following information: 1st Tactical Fighter Squadron, Sinners, and Sins and Saints (though this last bit of info can be exchanged for just S&S somewhere in the body of the emblem). I would prefer for the main colors of the patch to be blue and silver, though these can be changed. As for the actual figure in the emblem- surprise me. Pick something that seems to fit with the squad's name. Thanks in advance!

sure, when i get home
garbage ball is when you take a tennis ball and throw it at the hitter. The hitter is using an orange traffic cone we found in the dorm (my room mate took it and stowed it in his locker. The objective of the game is to hit the ball into the garbage can without touching the corridor walls. lol

We'd like to know what programs you have...I'm using a combination of Illustrator, then Photoshop.
I usually sketch out what I want, scan it in and use vectors to draw a tracing of the emblem. After that, I build the shapes, do colors and add the text in Illustrator. Photoshop
isn't my primary program (it doesnt offer the same control over individual shapes that Illustrator offers), it does some of the more special effects and actual resizing for internet use.

heres the guy, if theres anyway you can, can you put like a flight helmet or somthing on him?
here are the planes, preferably use the silver one
with the rider thing i would like the plane in the middle pointing to the left side of the emblem
lol.At that angle, it will be imposible for me to find a helmet for the guy, so you have another option?
. I can do something with the plane, thats it, You want a mascot or a symbol with the logo?

I would like an emblem for Buffalo Squadron please. I would like the emblem to have a charging bison on it somewhere and an F-14 on it somewhere. The shape of the emblem should be shaped like a shpere with a gold ribbon across the bottom that has "Buffalo Squadron 12th Air Wing" in black letters and a gold ribbon across the top that reads "Osean Air Defence Force" The background in the sphere should be sky blue. It doesn't really matter where the charging bison and F-14 are as long as they are inside the shpere and not touching or overlapping. Also, just for looks, I would like 3 yellow stars across the top of the emblem just below the ribbon that says "Osean Air Defence Force".

I would really like a badge that has the side view of the Arkbird ascending. Around the rim I would like, "Osean Special Air Defence Force, Project Arkbird. Above the Arkbird put in "Matix", below put in "Defend or Die".

I would like to request the help of the most talented sig artists on ACS.Com. The Black Phoenix is lacking an official emblem to represent our squadron. I am no artist by any stretch of the imagination so I'm asking you ACS.Com members to help me out.
A Shield type emblem, similair to USAF Squadrons or like that of the Aquila or SSL squads, is what I'm looking for. Preferably it shall involve a phoenix, black and red color scheme and detailed touches to the border and symblematics abound. Preferably something rising from the ashes or the 3 triangel delta formation come, to represent aircraft. The only thing I really need is 1 of the 2 mottos
"We Stand Alone, Together"
or
"In the air, we are aces. On the ground, we are family"
to be present. Hopefully it will be able to be used in a foreground with a background collage similair to the SSl's in this topic Collectin info. I also ask if someone could do that as well with the first motto on top and the second below the new emblem.

I've written my share of fan fics, and would bet you've never read any of mine either, and Never felt it necessary to design Squadron logos.. Even so, Asking someone to create one or two is one thing, but eleven??

Listen, the fact of the matter is, these emblems are important. I'm not asking for anything fancy, I'm just asking for something basic. The kind of thing you can pull out in say, what...20 minutes. Not any embroidery thing, no detailed patterns, but an adequate looking emblem with what the creator thinks should be on it. 11 emblems, I know. I didn't say one person was to do all of hat, no. Not at all.
I'm not trying to exploit anyone's talents; I'm just looking for some help. Sorry I snapped.

Here is the emblem for Buffalo Squadron. Due th the fact that the emblem ceator wouldn'tlet me put the ribbons on the top and bottom like I wanted , I had to settle for this. I would still like someone to make me a better version but this will have to do for now.

I modified it. FIrst, I changed the center to the color I wanted. Then, I found a pic of a buffalo that I liked and added it. Next, I used a screen capure to get the YSFlight Simulator F-14 and I added the smoke myself using one of my art programs.

Text translates as: Pride. Honor. Power. (in latin)
Knight lineart, with imposed Belkan flag on the cape. Colors have been modded to colorize the original lineart. The roundel was taken from the original grayscale model, and re-created in color, of which it has been made available to the BAF as a separate file from the patch itself. Designed and produced on 800x800 canvas, with actual area being about 700x700, at full resolution. This allows for smooth resizing, should they want it as a large, or smaller patch. This was made to order, using a pre-made patch template I made some months ago.
Havoc_One and I work on patches together. Our teamwork, I find, produces far better results than our singular attempts, and he has a certain eye for point detail that I sometimes miss.

I would like a coustom flight emblem with a nose view of a XFA-27 and squadrom name "Schatten Drachen" and the squadron 122nd tactical fighter squardon.

This isn't really for a squadorn, but it sounds like something what would be cool to have. Can I have this emblem.
on a shield that is red and gold. The heading is '105th Shock Troopers Legion' on top and 'The Fist of Mandalore' on the bottom.

If so I would like the size of it to be 500x100 and to have the background being of Sand Island (if that's possible).
If you could put a plane in it could it be the Rafael? It looks somewhat like the Typhoon.
And towards the left side of the signature could you put Jack "Trouble" Tribble? Could it look something like this. I'm in the Belkan Air Force, so if you could put some type of symbol for that too.

First off, this is the wrong forum.. Go to the Sig request forum.
Second, maximum sig with on this forum is 450.
third, they don't do aircraft sigs in the sig request forum.
