I just recently started making gundams again (don't ask where my old ones are.) Currently the only one that i have is the MSA-0011 S Gundam and a Wing Gundam that came assembled. Anyhoo, i had trouble putting on the sticker on the left shoulder of the S Gundam because i didn't really know how to apply it. ( for those who don't know what i'm talking about, the sticker was like a tattoo or something and i had to rub it on.) The Wing Gundam i have is really nicely painted but one of the plates on the backside keeps falling off. So, if you have any models you'd like to post (it doesn't have to be Gundam) post 'em here!
(if there is already a topic about this please tell me.)

I think there is a topic, but I'm breaking new ground.

Two locomotives I detailed myself. (I added the white on the railings, weathered them, and added a detail part on one [I didn't do it on the other because I only have one, if I had a sasting device, I would do that in a heartbeat])

That's a good question. I have a lot of different display models, be they toys, Lego Star Wars UCS, plastic models, die-cast, or wood displays.
Too many to list.

Kurogane, you are officially cool. The Ex-S is awesome!

I'm actually working on a Kaempher right now, along with about 4 or 5 MS from Advance of Zeta.

Keep the pics coming! I'll post some of mine when I get farther.

Yes, I do. cool.gif I love this suit. I'm working of the MG model. I'm airbrushing it, and using a lighter, flatter blue coloring.

I'm also working on this right now, the RX-121-2 Hazel 2

I'm a Zeon loyalist, but i love the Titan's mobile suits, especially the test team suits. wink.gif

That's not the thing to do. If you spray the runners, when you remove the parts, your stuck with the crap from the tree. To avoid more hand brushing. you have to actually paint each part individually. It's tedious, but it works.

I did a wash with a watercolor black, then dry-brused a rust color on the bottom and ladders, then dry-brused a tan color on the whole thing.

I did the white railings with a small brush.

Here's what they looked like when I first got them, and after I repaired one of them.

Guess which one got the repairs?

Yup, the bit of glue seems to stick out, but that's been corrected.

EMD SD9s. GEs road switchers before the 90's had a rounded nose annd roofs, and from the front. EMDs roofs are generally flat, and the nose is angled. ALCOs looked like GEs, (they were partners), but with notches on the corners. Fairbanks-Morses (FM) had flat fronts, and curved roofs.

(a good example would be an SD9 for EMD, an ALCO RS-11, a FM H24-44[AKA Train Master], and a GE U-boat)

Yes, but your then sanding off the paint you just sprayed on. It's better to just spray the parts individually.

Hey Kurogane! I'm quite intrigued, are you from malasya? (Random question)

Hm anyway I have a moded Rx-8 that I swear I have a picture of it somewhere arround.

Anyway, here's a pic of a miniature.... Not the best one out there:

The thing is 15 pieces overall and the details on it have been added scince i took the pic, so that's a WiP.

I see you have the Katoki Hajime version of the WG, and I swear that Kato is the best mech designer out there, perhaps only put in shade by Shoji Kawamori.

Malaysia? why would you think that? lol

i was thinking of making a monochrome wing gundam for my next project, but since i don't have much experience, i'm not too sure.

that miniature, where have a seen that before?

the Kato WG is my prized possession at the moment but i am disappointed that some of the parts fall off, many people who have one complained about it.
