CoH is one of the top RTS games out in today's market. The Cover System, good AI, and destructible terrain made me get this game, and I don't regret it.

Well thanks for the link Otacan but my computer just can't seem to handle it...anyway is a beautiful looking game maybe i'll get my friend to download the demo on his computer then get back to you...

Would it run on a 2004 windows XP with Intel Celeron processing? It looks good.

I have this game, it is really amazing. Definetley the best RTS ever created, hands down. I have an Alienware Aurora 5500, and it has a little lag running at High graphics, when you look at the horizon from "Solider perspective"

The game runs fine on all high when I play on the normal top-down view, but the FPS drops so much in the intense in-game cutscenes...

256 GB Seagate Hard Drive
ATi Radeon x1600 512MB Video Card (Basically the thing that is holding me back...)

It's a fantastic game. The patch (1.3) added a few things (map making tools, different replay system) but it also added at least ONE major bug, Axis tank traps can be run over by any vehicle in the allied army.

Another thing is that the game has the engine of a first person shooter. So they can do all kinds of crazy things like add in bighead mode (they actually did that) and use physics to a larger degree than we've seen before.

Only major complaint is that the battles are smaller (actually tactical rather than strategic) in scope compared to most RTS's on the market at this point.

That's recommended. The Minimal Requiremenets...It should be...:

512 MB of RAM
7,5 GB of Harddisk Space

COMPANY OF HEROES ROCKS.

End of story. Awesome unit AI, great controls, awesome gameplay in general, etc etc. I learned hard and fast the three rules of infantry warfare:
1) Flank whats flankable
2) If you can't flank it, blow it to hell with artillery/mortars.
3) If you can do neither, pick something else to knock out.

Company of Heroes is SICKLYCRAZYUBERAWESOME! Best RTS ever!!!

I've never seen such a large force... mine usually compose of a couple Shermans, four or so rifleman squads,a mortar crew or two,and maybe a sniper.

I lost well over half of them due to retardation on my part D:

Replaced all the riflemen with Rangers, next attack was very successful.

A very good game but UNFORTUNATELY :
1. Lack any historical realism (since when the Sherman can stand in 1 on 1 fight against Panther ?)
2. Too favourable for Allied especially the new faction in exp aka PE is just a noob faction, despite its named itself as PANZER ELITES, all they had just only many many failed unit in REAL WW2 like SdfKz, Panzer iV with short barrel ??? He129 ? worse, even they can't produce any ELITES panzer (tank) from Germany weaponry like Tiger or Panther at all !!)

Full of action packed with gore violence make this game truy superb despite its rather imbalance toward Axis player

I still failed to destroy expert AI (especially Brits) using PE !!
