I posted this over at the Electrosphere forums and someone mentioned I should bring it here - hopefully this doesn't infringe or violate anything, my apologies in advance if it does.

I'm sure most of you know that AC5 had the flight stick pack which had the Wardog Squadron back patch. Not knowing the details and dimensions, I talked to an established patch maker/embroiderer (http://pandari.deviantart.com/gallery if you want to see her work) and she said she'd be willing to make a run of the squadron patch.

The patches will be 100% embroidered with fade-resistant rayon and have iron-on transfer, nice and easy to put on even if you don't know how to iron stuff.

Cost? That depends on how many people want in. If 50 people want a patch, it will be $30 per patch, if 100 people want it, $24 per patch. These will include free USPS priority mail shipping. Of course, if you order more than one patch, I'll knock it down a few bucks since they'll all fit in one envelope. I'm not doing a markup; this is just the cost of the patch + shipping - I will provide information on cost of shipping and materials to prove that this is not for any profit or gain. Pandari will design the patch for the embroiderers and they do require a minimum run of at least 50.

This looks great on a B-15 or A-2 style flight jacket! If you're looking for one, there's tons on Ebay, or you can go to your favorite army/navy surplus store. I know a guy in NYC who does darn good deals on real surplus gear.

You know, The Wardog emblem is a coyright of Namco... and reproduction of that is subject to those laws....

The prices involve no profit to me; if there's any changes at time of production and shipping, they'll be adjusted accordingly.

Honestly, if Namco wants to come after me, they can do so, but what I'm trying to do is just give people a chance at the patch since there's pretty much no availability anywhere else.

This seems really pointless!

The point is basically to give people a chance to buy the patch if they want it; let me ask you this - would anyone rather see a Razgriz patch? I have no objections to going down that route.

I'm agree with ya, but don't listen to this guys, obviously they don't have nothing better to do.

Yours looks like a good idea. It would be good to have the oportunity to buy this patches, I would kill to get the Razgriz one. Keep it up.

OK, if nobody really cares here and just wants to play big man on the internets, have it your way; if anyone is interested in the patches, let me know via PM. I'm not trying to be the point man and put up my own cash on this unless people are serious.

I'd have hoped people wanted to have the patch because they didn't want to spend $150 on the flightstick bundle. Guess not. As soon as I figure out how to do so, I'll close the topic.

Calm down, pal, we're just giving you and your partner a head's up. I didn't say you shouldn't go through with it.

I don't know, man. To sell this kind of things in internet is not easy, no matter how good the idea can be. Maybe to show the product done will get people's interest, or maybe not. You never know with this things.

I, per example, would like to buy you a patch, but I just not have the money to do it.

Make your best, and see what happen. Expect the best but prepare for the worst.
