I hopped on the faithful scooter and rolled to Gamestop to pick up AC04 today. Got it cheap for $9. (Actually free, because I traded some games in.) Anything I should look for before playing through the campaign?

Seems pretty awesome. Got to mission 7... On one of the earlier ones when you first meet the Yellow Squadron I tried to dogfight them in the F-4. Didn't work out so well.

Yeah the game is programmed so even if you get missile hits
on the Yellows before the Stonehenge mission they won't die.
Best just leave them alone until then.

You ARE enjoying it right?

Got to mission 7...

Just wait until mission 8. You'll realize one of the reasons AC4 pwns the whole series.

Of course I'm enjoying it. It's supposed to be the best in the series right? Liking it more than 5 already.

Got to mission 8. Wow. One giant air battle. Of course I wasted 20 missiles trying to take out a yellow...

Lol, that's wasn't necessary tongue.gif

Otherwise, just make sure you have the screen brightness setting on high when you get to M15: Emancipation. It's really dark (for me at least). Oh and do watch the cutscenes. The nararator is a little monotone, but the storyline is really good.

I always watch the cutscenes in video games. I find that the story can be as important as the gameplay sometimes. Just beat #9... That mission owns.

That bunker mission? I never really liked that one either, visibility sucked. What are you up to now, Tango Line? That one also lasts forever tongue.gif. Be careful with the VTOL bases in the mountains.

For Tango Line, I would recommend something with a good loadout of UGBL's ... They really work great.

Alas, another believer! laugh.gif

My 2 cents, take the best A2A fighter you got for Farbanti. As for the Yellows, just put your head between your legs and kiss your rear goodbye... save yourself the trouble....
