He died today in the 4th round of qualifying after his funny car burst into flames right when it crossed the finish line, careened out of control, and crashed in the sandbox, where his funny car exploded on impact. He died doing what he loved, and that was to race.
Discuss, please. I'm truly shocked about this... We've lost quite a few drivers in the past few years... I'm afraid for everyone else's safety... I don't want to lose more race car drivers...
