Cancer Scare Cripples F-16s
March 23, 2008 Israel has halted training flights of its new F-16I fighters because formaldehyde is leaking into the cockpit and making pilots nauseous. Formaldehyde can also cause cancer after prolonged exposure. Israel has demanded that the U.S. manufacturer of the F16 find and fix the problem. That may be difficult. There have been no other incidents like this, and over 4,000 F-16s are in use by 24 countries. The problem may lie in modifications Israel has made to the aircraft. I can't see anything happening with our F-16s. Israel's made pretty exstensive modifications to theirs over the years. Their F-16's mission is a little different than ours.

Yeah. Our F-16s...well,they don't do much of anything latley. Hell, there is even claims that all the problems with the F-15 was so that the Air Force could demand F-22s on a heavier scale.
That's the Air Force for you though,a bunch of politics. Which is why I chose Marine Corps Aviation. -------------------- ![]() Free Erusean Air Force (F.E.A.F.) - Commander of the "Empire of Erusea" Playstation Network ID = FEAF-HELLBIRD |

When you send back our draft dodgers As an independent observer (Irish, and therefore neutral) I have to say that Canada had no power to deport "draft dodgers", as coming to Canada to evade conscription was not illegal. Hellbird, give him his Raptors. -------------------- ![]() ![]() I heard a thing once, can't remember where, that, in general, the better a plane looks, the better it performs, agility-wise. Which means that the Falken can't fly for sh*t It is never a good idea to have "Highway to the Danger Zone" playing. Not even in a Tomcat. You are not Maverick. You are not Iceman. It is not Top Gun. It is Ace Combat. Once A HellCat, Always A HellCat http://www.360voice.com/tag/Quinntan |

As soon as Talisman pays up first...Raptor's don't come cheap.
[EDIT]:....but spam aside...I wonder what could be wrong with their F-16's. It must be with the mod's they've done, cause we don't have that problem here, nor anywhere else that I know of....(more spam)...Formaldehyde is what makes the "new car smell"?...I did not know that...wow. uhhh, whats a draft dodger http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_dodger "A draft dodger, draft evader or draft resister, is a person who avoids ("dodges") or otherwise violates the conscription policies of the nation in which he or she is a citizen or resident, by leaving the country, going into hiding, attempting to fraudulently obtain conscientious objector status, or by open resistance (civil disobedience)." Well, I believe its somthing they have done to them, maybe the aircraft paint job, or somthing smaller. If the Vipers have had the problem the whole time somebody else would have found it by now. Since other countries had them before israel.

Well,I myself not being a neutral and having a grandfather who went to Vietnam while Bill Clinton went to college in England to avoid the draft, they may not be criminals on paper but they are criminals morally and they should be punished with their deaths. -------------------- ![]() Free Erusean Air Force (F.E.A.F.) - Commander of the "Empire of Erusea" Playstation Network ID = FEAF-HELLBIRD |

How is not supporting a cause you don't agree with criminal?
If it's so morally wrong to disagree with your government on an issue, why, then are we still a democracy? And, from the looks of it, you're looking to turn the US into a fascist state... Death penalties for not participating in a war? That's just silly. -------------------- ![]() |

Being a conscientious objector, agreeing with a war has everything to do with it, and if we executed everyone who evaded the draft on moral grounds, we would be no different than the so-called enemy. Now back on topic.

Fact of the matter is they have no right to object to an call to arms. That's why America has become so damn liberal is because all of a sudden over the past few years,we want to implement this idea of understanding and sympathy when those two things get you killed.
Now what means us different from our enemy Cacye, you "educated" liberal faggot, the population of the United States since the country's independence in 1776 has always been a boat, a boat that is floated in the river that is filled to the brim by blood. Blood of the good men and women who fight and die for us and that blood of charlies, commies, ragheads, krauts and those other bastards who thought they had grounds to take up arms against us. Now I already see this coming "North Vietnam didn't take up arms against us" No,they didn't But take this into consideration. They took up arms against South Vietnam, invaded them, oppressed, executed and murdered them by the truckload but for us going over there,we were the bad guys? You're the one who needs to take the more neutral viewpoint Now,here's another picture for you before you try and find sympathy for the draft dodger. My grandfather was a vetern of the United States Army,Corps of Engineers. He served 2 tours during Vietnam. 68-69,71-72-a total of 26 months and this is after he'd been in the military since 1956. He was a 17 year veteran when he finished his tours. He could've got out and re-enlisted after Vietnam was over and got his 20 for retirement. Instead he went there. So make a "split-screen" vision if you will On the left,my grandfather with his M2 Carbine sitting under the burning heat of the jungle canopy living off canned foods that sometimes weren't even warm with 15-day worn combat boots and the 1700 shadow not helping with the heat factor when the politics was telling him he couldn't carry a loaded weapon, but he told them off and did it anyway. My grandmother and my dad sitting at home wondering if everytime a taxi goes through the neighborhood if the next of kin notification is going to stop at their door or wonder if he'll come off that commerical airliner with recognizable facial features or all of him limbs, his sanity in tact. On the right,a snowy moutainside cabin with a warm fireplace where a long-haired smiling hippy drinks hot co-co and laughs at images on the TV where the casualty reports are ready from Vietnam saying "Haha and I got away." Me,personally,I know a lot of people don't have the consitituion to handle the situation of war, especialy the conditions and animal elements of Vietnam but that dosen't give them the right to abandon the country that they feel they can enjoy the peacetime freedoms of and then run when they are called upon to defend these freedoms for their children. -------------------- ![]() Free Erusean Air Force (F.E.A.F.) - Commander of the "Empire of Erusea" Playstation Network ID = FEAF-HELLBIRD |
