CNC3 looked a lot like Tiberian Sun and it still sucked horribly. I would rather die then have a game of CNC end in fifteen minutes.

I'm with Psycho, after EA bought up Westwood, they split. Becoming 2 different studios one for EA and the other Petroglyph. RA2 is the most godliest of the C&C games, and if they screw it up like Generals or C&C 3 I'm gonna have to kill.

Then don't play C&C1 and RA1.

C&C3 was pretty good and Generals also had merit. People need to take off their rose tinted glasses about Westwood and realize that none of their games have aged well.

I Like CnC3, expecially on my 360! I like RA2, yet I still play CnC3 because it is good. So shut it or a Rail Mammoth will visit your face.

Honestly, I wanted to see the literal scale of units on C&C 3 toned up a bit. I really wanted to see something more like the Mammoth Mk. II. I just I just have an awkward fascination for those kinda large things.

They did have at least one mech per faction, actually, but they were a little lack luster. Like the Juggernaut variation of the Mammoth being made primarily into an artillery unit? What's with that? That's nothing like how the name "Mammoth" should be portrayed. The Mk. II played it right, I wish they brought it back. Once again, though, I will admit that my passion is a little fanboyishly biased, so I apologize.

Oh! But that aside, I really loved the Red Alert series. I find it pretty crazy how far those Soviets went with that time traveling tech, though, after the mess that was Yuri's Revenge. I loved what happened to Yuri when he tried using the time machine, though. I felt kind of sorry for him, actually. Honestly, he was one of those anti-heroes I kind of held a level of respect towards. Oh, but mind control FTL. That was irritating more than anything.

I really hope that they don't go overboard with the Rising Sun faction. The general concept does sound pretty interesting, though. Maybe the Rising Sun people will be the ones to bring mechs into the playing field of RA. While the Allies have chrono- and prism- techs and the Soviets have telsa and monster (the apocalypse tank and kirov airships were really monstrous) techs, the Rising Sun might just have mechs and nanotech. 'xD

That sounds about right, and does well explain the third faction.

Hopefully, Yuri is completely out of the picture with the little "revision" of the time period by the soviets. I think that for the most part, because of the time "revision" the Soviets will probably end up having a very, very huge advantage against the other two powers. It'll probably end up with the U.S. and JP helping each other out, ultimately (the way it goes in the campaign pretty much depends on the Player's role) with the Soviet player obviously crushing whatever last stand the two forces try putting up.

But yeah, although those mind-control units were unique, I think they became more of an irritation over Yuri's Revenge. Seriously now, I think that was my least favorite faction in the history of RTS.

I actually like Tiberian Sun, now that I've gotten to play it...and I also like Generals and Zero Hour.

I just like all the games. Renegade is by far my favorite, however. Getting to run around in the buildings I'd been blowing up was fun. Also, chaingun.

I hate those Black Hand snipers!

I wonder if the RA2 actors are coming back...I thought Romanov was hilarious.
