Those things sucked... I doubt it could even do 80... Why would you need to have top speed if you could travel through time? -------------------- I am Jack's, complete sense of betrayal. |

According to the movie, you could only travel through time if you were going 80 mph...

It was technically 88mph... which the car in the movie couldn't actually do with all the stuff on it. (Also, the film crew ripped out the stock engine from France and replaced it with a Porsche powerplant)

He could get a Mercury Maruader or '67 Cougar and get upgrades for it. Personally I wouldn't mind a Maruader with over 400 Horses Some people drop big motors into crown vics, in a sense it's the same thing. Yeah to bad some Marauders even have more been kicking the idea around of twin turbos for mine http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/index.php You have 3 generations of Marauders 1963/65 1969/70 2003/04 Mine http://www.cardomain.com/ride/346505/1 |

Well, I read that the Chevy 305 actually put out only 150/165 horsepower during the eighties for the Caprice Classic. THAT MUCH!

...
They're just Fords. Nothing special. 'Rather have an '84 Caprice Classic painted black with a 435 HP 350ci Chevy engine from Edelbrock, a Barry Grant Six-Shooter intake, some really big headers, and a pair of Cherry Bomb Glasspacks. Yeah... Add some BFGoodrich Wide Oval tires onto a set of American Racing Trak-Star S/S wheels, and a chopped roof. Yeah... Add some flames, and it's a classic Dare To Be Different car. ... Yes, but any man who wants to be taken seriously should not put flames on their car. Just black it out. But then it'll be plain! ... What about a 1986 Nissan 720 truck with the original 4-banger removed to make way for a Chevy 350 with a six-speed, body panels chopped, the roof cut low, and custom wheels all around, along with a custom cap. Paint it Chevy Orange, with a black hood. Nice for a sport truck, huh? Yes, but any man who wants to be taken seriously should not put flames on their car. Just black it out. Look at the old hot rods made from 30s-50s era cars, lots of them had flames; and they looked cool -------------------- ![]() "None Braver, None Stronger, None Better. Look at the old hot rods made from 30s-50s era cars, lots of them had flames; and they looked cool Yeah, on Hot-Rods. Those cars were alright. You know theres like an unwritten code, that some how allows you to put flames on those cars. Like cars today, are not meant to have flames on them. ![]() Blacking your car out, with silver/chrome trim is the best way to do it. -------------------- I am Jack's, complete sense of betrayal. |

Feh.
... Rather have a custom '32 Ford convertible rat rod that looks like a P-40 Warhawk with a V-12 engine from a Lamborghini in it. ... Even with the dash, the seats, the prop cone on the custom grille, and exhaust stubs. ... Edit: That's because they aren't muscle cars. Most of the cars today are imports. Japanese cars. They don't respect the classic American Muscle Car. I'd rather die than get a Japanese import car. A truck is a different story. Not to be an *CENSORED* or anything and i'm really not testing you. But *CENSORED*? Japanese import cars are just fine. Most are beneficial to families with their high MPG, great features and sometimes may even look nice. But yes, I too would take a Muscle Car any day. Especially a 1968 Charger, Pontiac 1967 GTO. Another car I like is the Chrysler Prowler. -------------------- I am Jack's, complete sense of betrayal. |

I'd rather get a Boss 429 or a GT500 mustang if I was to get a musle car. A 1970 mustang with a smaller engine would be a nice everyday car. (Mine 1997 is a nice everday car, 24 mpg and can turn better and go faster than most other cars on the road)

I know that, but I'm American. I love my country. That's why I love musclecars, not to mention that they look cool.
