I'm a die-hard gundam and mecha fan, and in terms of Ace Combat I originally got started with Ace Combat 3, but 4 and 5 are my favorites.

Oh and in case if anyone's wondering my stance on the Idolmaster planes, I'll just say this. I own two XBox 360s. One of them was imported from Japan. Specifically so I could play Idolmaster (though the option to play AC6 with the original Japanese dub was a nice bonus). So if you're wondering why on earth I'd pay 400 MS points just to have Miki painted across my Su-33, I'll just say I've payed 1000 MS points just for one outfit so 400 is nothing.
